The New Jersey Indian Church (NJIC) is an inter-denominational, multi-cultural, ecumenical, and evangelical church that caters to the spiritual needs of the South Asian Christian community in New Jersey. Well known singing group from Chennai, “The Octet Cantabile” will be performing Indian Christian classical ragas on Mother's Day Sunday (May 11) during the worship service. Founded by Chennai based musician Augustine Paul, The group specializes in arranging Western harmony to Indian classical ragas in South Indian languages. They will perform in English and Tamil in our church.
